The Cassville R-IV School District is dedicated to preparing every student for success academically, socially and beyond graduation, including college, career or service.

Our Student Success Dashboard tells the story of our students, our progress and our future. Alingned with our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) and Portrait of a Graduate, the dashboard provides families and our community with a tranparent look at academic achievement and growth, student engagement, college and career readiness, graduation and skills and experiences that prepare our students for success beyon high school.

Through these efforts, Cassville R-IV reaffirms its commitment to ensuring every student graduates confident, capable, and prepared for the future.

K-8 Data and High School Readiness

High School Readiness reflects how prepared a student is to be successful in grades 9–12. At Cassville R-IV School District, we use iReady and IXL as Interim Assessment tools to check how learning is going. These tools measure both a student’s current performance (status) and how much they’ve improved over time (growth). The results help students see their progress toward meeting grade-level standards and give teachers important information to guide and strengthen classroom instruction. CSIP Goal 1.1 states, “On an annual basis, students will score at or above the state average on MAP, EOC and ACT state assessments.”

The purpose of the Comprehensive Literacy Plan (CLP) is to outline the actions of the Cassville R-IV School District as it relates to literacy for all students from birth through grade 12. The CLP will be the guiding document used to drive literacy practices using common language while defining best practices for instruction using the needs assessment and district goals in alignment with the Missouri State Literacy Plan. The CLP will guide Tier 1 instruction as well as best practices for identifying and servicing students who are struggling readers and are at-risk for dyslexia. This is in accordance with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education dyslexia guidance document and screening organizer, and Senate Bill 681 Reading Success Plan requirements. Teachers will be trained annually in the science of reading, which could include Missouri Reading Initiative (MRI), LETRS, ASPIRE, Take Flight, phonics, phonemic/phonological awareness, fluency, comprehension, and research-based effective teaching practices. College, Career and Workforce Readiness

At Cassville R-IV School District, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to graduate prepared for success in college, career, and the workplace. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that will open doors to their future, whether that path leads to higher education, technical training, military service, or the workforce.

A key part of this work is the Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). Beginning early in their academic journey, students use the ICAP as a personalized planning tool to set meaningful goals, track progress, and showcase their learning. The ICAP also helps students build their College, Career, and Workplace Readiness (CCWR) portfolio, which serves as a collection of evidence demonstrating readiness for life after high school. Students engage in a variety of opportunities that support their ICAP, including: Market Value Assets (MVAs), Qualifying Assessments, DESE Certifications and Credentialing programs.

At Cassville R-IV, students graduate with the skills and confidence they need, a clear plan for the future, and the readiness to succeed no matter which path they choose.
