Welcome to the Media Center!

The mission of the Cassville Middle School Media Center, in conjuction with the Cassville School District, is to provide students with a safe and collaborative learning enviornment that empowers individual success.  

The Cassville Library Media Centers will be an integral part of the total educational program and will meet the needs of each student by incorporating the following:

  •  The Media Center will seek to build relationships and align initiatives with other departments contained in the building.
  • Share information with parents and staff through the use of technology and library programming.
  • Build and maintain a partnership with the local public library to offer an extension of resources.
  • Connect with other teachers and administrators to improve instructional practices.

The purpose of the media center is to develop comprehensive information systems that meet the needs of faculty members and students of differing abilities, backgrounds, and interests. Media programs contribute at every level, offering essential processes, functions, and resources to accomplish the purpose of the school district.

  • The Media center is open from 7:45 to 3:15 to Cassville Middle School students. Longer hours are available upon request.

  • Students may check out two books for two weeks and may be renewed one time.  Books must be presented at the circulation desk for renewal.

  • The Cassville Middle School Media Center offers a variety of books, e-books, and databases for students to use.
