Incoming kindergarten students-current eighth grade students are invited to participate in the “Launch into Learning” seated summer school session, May 18-June 12. Classes will begin at 7:45 a.m. each morning and will conclude at 3:15 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch is provided to each student free of charge.
Students will have the opportunity to earn a gift card through the attendance incentive program. If the child misses zero hours of class, he or she will earn a $100 gift card. If 1 hour-1 day is missed, the student will earn a $75 gift card. If 2 days are missed, the child will earn a $50 gift card.
Summer school students will enjoy weekly field trips and weekly pool days (pre-k students will have water play days on campus).
First grade students will complete the YMCA Water Safety Course. This course is a series of 8 lessons designed to teach students water safety skills that help reduce the risk of downing and build their skills and confidence in and around the water. Through the guidance of YMCA instructors, students will develop a strong foundation of water safety knowledge.

We have exciting news to share with our families that have students that have completed fifth, sixth and seventh grades!
This summer, Cassville R-IV will offer a new summer school enrichment program in partnership with Compass Academy Network (CAN). This program will take place May 18-June 12; 7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m. on campus at the W.I.L.D. Academy at CMS.
There is no cost to participate in this program. Students will receive free breakfast, lunch and snack as well as a program t-shirt, binder, water bottle and pencil pouch with supplies. Transportation will also be available.
The Cassville CAN program will be led by a team of educators and aspiring teacher mentors. Students will participate in engaging, hands-on enrichment activities each week, including:- creative writing and art
- math and civics
- decision-making and personal development
- team-building and physical education
- a fun and educational field trip each Friday
Students enrolled in CAN are eligible for the district's summer school attendance gift card incentive. Additionally, students who successfully complete the program will receive a $45 Walmart gift card that can be used on school supplies.
SPOTS ARE LIMITED!
Families that are interested in having their child considered for this program, must complete an online application. Students interested must have a GPA equivalent of 2.5 or higher and must have a recommendation from a current teacher, guidance counselor or administrator.

Summer School Information for current 9th-11th grade students:
High School Summer School courses earning 0.5 credits will run from May 18-July 1, with the exception of art, farm management, and advanced PE (if enrolling for credit) which will be in session May 18-June 19.
Complete this form to enroll for 2026 Summer School at Cassville R-IV.
Students are allowed to enroll in up to 1.5 credits for the summer semester. Virtual Course offerings will be completed from home.

The Mercy School Based Clinic will close at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 7 and will remain closed until Monday, May 18. The clinic will be open during summer school, Monday-Thursday, 7-9:30 a.m., closed on Fridays. The clinic will close for the summer on Thursday, June 11 and will reopen the first day of school (August 25).
