Members of the Cassville Junior Beta Club recently traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, to compete at the National Junior Beta Convention after earning top honors at the Missouri Junior Beta Convention earlier this year.

Students representing Cassville Middle School competed in a variety of academic and fine arts events alongside thousands of Beta members from across the United States.

The Performing Arts Small Group team consisted of Layla Rivera, Chazlyn Artherton, Cara Leach, Rayleigh Stehlik, Reagan Truman, Violette Wright, Hattie Lyons, Scoti Blankenship, Jaelyn Cavness and Judah Allen.

Jaelyn Cavness also qualified to compete individually in the Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio (Vocalist) competition. In addition to her national competition, Jaelyn was selected as a Golden Ticket recipient at the Missouri Junior Beta Convention, an honor awarded to outstanding performers. As a Golden Ticket winner, she was invited to perform during the opening ceremony of the National Junior Beta Convention alongside fellow Golden Ticket recipients from across the nation.

Other Cassville national qualifiers included Evangeline Aldridge in Quilling, Addileah Aldridge in Fiber Arts, and Charley Nichols in the Service Learning Showcase.
